Coronet Ridge Resort

We completely transformed Coronet Ridge Resort, formerly known as Nugget Point Hotel, in a year-long refurbishment. The 42-room hotel was closed during the works, enabling a comprehensive programme that included guest room and common area refurbishments, structural strengthening, full HVAC replacement, new inter-tenancy walls for improved fire and acoustic performance, re-roofing, façade refurbishment, upgraded driveways and paths, new ramps, landscaping and a new port cochere at the entrance.

The project was delivered under a fast-track programme that demanded precise coordination, rapid decision making and continual re-sequencing. Procurement constraints added complexity, with materials and resources needing to align with tight timelines. We progressively incorporated ongoing design changes and significant scope expansion into the programme, including the exterior works package, new restaurant and roof.

To maintain momentum, we worked closely with the hotel operator, suppliers, consultants and design partners, enabling early access to completed areas while construction continued in parallel. Strong communication helped resolve unforeseen challenges quickly, while our team also supported FF&E procurement and provided structural engineering advice to expedite design decisions.

Through proactive planning, adaptive resequencing and close collaboration, we supported the hotel’s timely reopening and delivered the high-quality finishes expected in a five-star resort.
